The ladies also meet on Fridays in the church basement, and sew school bags for school children to be distributed through Lutheran World Relief. They sew the bags, and when there is enough, fill them with donated school supplies - pens, scissors, pencils, notebooks, rulers, etc. Donated gifts of the school supplies are always appreciated! Sometimes the kids from Gather Round will take their class time and fill the bags if they are ready to go.
