Pastor Ed Baseman came to Trinity Lutheran Church on Washington Island in December of 2021. He graduated from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago in 2013 and served as pastor at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Green Bay for eight years.

Trained as a classical singer, Pastor Ed also has degrees in vocal music from Concordia College in Moorhead MN, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Northwestern University in Evanston IL. He worked in artist relations and as an Administrator of the young artist training program at Lyric Opera of Chicago. He has been a music educator at the middle school, high school, and postsecondary levels.

Pastor Ed is delighted to be here on the island, and loves serving as Trinity Lutheran’s pastor. He and his wife Judy have appreciated the fantastic Island welcome and are happily settling into island life.
