Our quilters meet every Tuesday morning, year round, at 9:00 am in the church basement, where their tables, sewing machines, and cupboards of fabric have found a permanent home. Several hundred quilts are made every year, for distribution to local shelters all the way to the international organization Lutheran World Relief. The quilters also make quilts for our local graduating high school seniors, and also for those experiencing illness, loss, upcoming surgeries, wherever outreach might bring some comfort. Donations of fabric are greatly appreciated, but please, the fabric should be clean, smoke free, mold free, and suitable for sewing.
